Ok, I can’t resist this. I was surfing through my usual blogs when I saw this on Defending Big D. And since it features our family favorites, Robi and Otter, I couldn’t not watch it!
It confirms what we already knew, Robi is such a badass. And no wonder Otter broke both his ankles, they are tiny. Not that I mind, Hub’s are even smaller (classic runner’s legs).
Enjoy.

OMG!! Myra!
Now I’m going to be yelling “God, no, don’t hit him in the legs.” Every time I watch a game.
How in the world does he hit so hard, with out breaking himself?
Um. That is the problem, he does keep breaking himself.
Upon further review, I’m don’t think Hub’s ankles are smaller. And he did survive 6 years of football without breaking anything. Either way, I’m keeping Hub off ice skates.
When I was watching that video I was imagining what my heart rate might look like on that monitor. Probably just a flat-line.
And how about those kneehigh socks?
They didn’t want to see my heart rate, from just watching. Ugh, if I even attempted that stuff, I know I’d flat-line. You are not alone in that worry, Patty.
Myra, I think we need an addition to the NHL rule-book. “No hitting Steve Ott. Ever!” (like that would ever happen)
