EEEEKKKKK!!! Can you believe it?!?! Hockey season has begun! Unfortunately, I am definitely not in game shape yet. I worked late last night getting things ready for a new employee starting on Monday, totally forgetting about the time difference for the Stars game. Dave calls me at 6 and says, “What are you doing?!?!” That was the first time it hit me that the game would be starting at 6. ARGH!! So I jump in the car with game on the radio only to hear Trevor Daley score twice for The Devils. UGH. I get home to find my house has been invaded by six, yes six, teenagers and no dinner. Needless to say, I was a little distracted for the beginning of the Stars game. Thankfully, they were just waiting for me to get home to get things rolling and played a pretty darn fun game to watch. What can you say about Loui? So thrilled. I must admit after seeing two pre-season games I wasn’t expecting too much. But they really surprised me. So it is with great expectations that I look forward to tonight’s game. Which starts at 6 central again tonight. I will not fail twice!

Had a defender without a stick, Moulson at that. Should have done something with that.

Kari gets caught out for a major scramble and then back in the net without a stick. Isles capitalize on it.

Ralph & Razor have given up on the officials as Sims pushes Morrow into Kari after the whistle with no call. Fistric takes him to the ice for it though. Thank you, Mark. They do call him for interference but immediately call tripping on Richards as another Isle makes an Emmy winning performance.

Oh know. Benn is hurt. Looked really loopy being helped off the ice. Oh dear. No penalty. We’ll see how badly he’s hurt.

We’ve been switching over the Tx Rangers game during breaks.

Myra and Teri – I just posted a photo of my cousin Emily on twitter. She’s the one who spent 2+ months in the NICU when she was born the day after Christmas. So far she’s not showing any signs of damage after being without oxygen for so long.
